Terms of Service

By accessing or using Melvo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Melvo reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Melvo is a song identification service that captures system audio on your Windows PC to identify songs in real-time. The Service includes a web application, a Windows desktop agent, Spotify integration, and song history features.

You must create an account to use Melvo. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service

Melvo offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Pro, Ultra). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

The Melvo name, logo, software, and all content provided by Melvo are the intellectual property of Melvo and its licensors. Song metadata, artwork, and lyrics displayed in the Service are the property of their respective rights holders.

Melvo integrates with third-party services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Genius. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Melvo is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Melvo does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that song identification will be accurate at all times. Song recognition accuracy depends on audio quality and database availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melvo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Melvo may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page.
