How to Identify a Song on PC
Melvo identifies songs playing from your computer audio and returns results in your web dashboard with platform links, history, and optional sync.
Step 1: Install the Agent
Download and install the Melvo Agent, then sign in with the same account you use in the web app.
Step 2: Open Identify in the web app
Go to Identify and check that the Agent status is online. If status is offline, use the installer link displayed in the page and restart the Agent.
Step 3: Run recognition
Click Identify. Melvo sends a command to the Agent, captures a sample, and returns title, artist, and listening links. The result is saved in your history.
Step 4: Enable sync and analytics
Connect Spotify in Sync, enable auto-add rules, and use Stats to monitor usage and top artists.
